Just a short blog post to show off the headband I knit for myself. It’s done in mosaic knitting and really easy to do… that is, once you’ve figured out how to knit that way. (Thanks, Kara!!!). 😉
Isn’t it absolutely lovely?
I just love the pattern and how it looks when I wear it. Also it’s a wonderful way to use up left over sock yarn. As usual I’ve used Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Mexiko Cotton Stretch, which is the very best yarn there is. It’s soft and stretchy and keeps the shape nicely.
Kara designed the pattern. I’ll probably knit some more eventually for I absolutely love the pattern. Btw. it can be found on ravely. Here it is: http://ravel.me/aravis83/mh
Oh btw. I just realized that I never posted a pic of my finished bubble socks. Anyway here they are:
They turned out so pretty, though they were a real pain to knit. 😀
Here is the pattern and they are on ravelry: http://ravel.me/aravis83/bm
